Kamille Mayes

Kamille Mayes is a Metro-Atlanta based visual artist who seamlessly blends traditional art forms with digital animation. A graduate of Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art, Kamille specializes in printmaking, animation, and new media.

Kamille’s artistic journey began with linocut printmaking, which she used as a powerful storytelling medium. As technology reshaped the art world, she embraced the intersection of traditional and digital techniques, creating innovative pieces that come to life before viewers' eyes.

Her work explores themes of family history, Black female identity, and the complexities of adulthood. Her unique approach earned her second place in the ArtsxChange Gallery’s “Climate Change” exhibition, featuring an experimental piece that combined printmaking with projection-mapped animation.

Kamille Mayes' art has been showcased in notable venues including MINT Gallery, The Brooklyn Collective, Thomasville Center for the Arts, and Atlanta Contemporary. Her work has also been featured in exhibitions in New York, expanding her presence along the East Coast. She continues to participate in various shows throughout Atlanta and beyond, sharing her innovative blend of traditional and digital art techniques with a growing audience.
